Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty which mainly affects the development of

literacy and language related skills. Children with dyslexia experience difficulties with phonological processing, working memory, processing speed and the automatic development of skills that do not match up their overall cognitive abilities.

Dyslexia tends to be resistant to conventional teaching methods, but its effects

can be mitigated by timely and specific intervention. The most effective way to improve dyslexia are computer based programs that combine research on how the brain learns with the latest technology to develop the skills needed to become a good reader.

At LOGOS, we are offering Fast ForWord products geared to students who need to build the skills considered critical to language, reading and writing. Fast ForWord, developed by Scientific Learning and based on more than 30 years of brain research, helps learners of all ages rapidly improve language and reading skills in just weeks instead of years. Each day's results are transmitted via the Internet to Scientific Learning which produces reports that LOGOS therapists use to guide a student’s progress.

"Our son has a delay in language development mainly caused by Auditory Processing Difficulties.

The progress he made working on Fast ForWord was remarkable."  Victoria Martinez, mother
