Christiane is a bilingual German and English speaking speech and language therapist with over 25 years extensive experience in working with children, teenagers and adults with speech, language, communication, voice and swallowing disorders. She graduated from the University of Hanover, Germany in 1996. After gaining clinical experience with German and English speaking clients in Hanover, Christiane opened her first speech and language clinic in St. John's Wood, London in 2002.

 

From 2017 to 2020, Christiane was on the committee of the National Dysfluency Clinical Excellence Network, a network of SLTs specialising in stammering. As the communication officer, she developed their website, ran the social media accounts and helped organise study days.

 

From 2018 to 2021, Christiane worked as the Head Speech and Language Therapist at BeneTalk, a digital health company. She created the content of a stuttering therapy app, developed and carried out research studies and advised the product development, marketing and design team.

 

In addition to her private work, Christiane has worked as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within the NHS and for Surrey Council.


She is a certified member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

 

Christiane is a recognised Speech & Language Therapy provider with many private health insurance companies. She has a keen interest in interdisciplinary work and has established excellent liaison relationships with doctors, therapists and schools, offering recommendations and support as well as guidance to school teachers and SENCOs.
